Could someone give a hyperlink to some literature, that would explain when we should use "THE". For example - The London Bridge, The Big Ben (incorrect), The Eiffel Tower, The Coloseum e.t.c.

Could someone explain?

Hi,

Your examples are all of proper nouns. "The" is often adopted before proper nouns. BTW, a general explanation for the usage of "the" should require a book's volume.
