Hello, dear Mr Torsten
I made 8 out of 10 correct answers in the multiple choice test number 3 .
About the listening practice, I listened the mp3 file 2 times and here are my answers :
What company does Sue work for? Sue works in a financial company.
What time does she usually start work? She usually starts work at 8:45 in the morning
Why does she enjoy the personal contact with her clients? Because the are from all walks of life and are all ages
The third question was difficult for me, so I had to read attentively the text to answer........but I didn't understand what does "from all walks of life" mean.

Best regards, Miroslav

Dear Miro,

Thanks a lot for your answers. The phrase "from all walks of life" is an idiom which means that the customers have different jobs and cultural backgrounds. Please let me know if this makes sense.

Best regards,
Torsten

Dear Torsten:

As you have suggested, I have uploaded my picture to the forum. You are right, it's much better writing to someone with a "face" in the forum. I also updated my quizzes, so far my score is 95%. I need to be more active in my written and audio lessons. Hopefully, my test scores will improve.

Thank you for keeping in touch.

Best regards,
Sherry

Dear friends:

Useful lesson, don't you think? I like all those words which include the -top particle on top of theirs, specially laptop, tip-top and top-secret. Am I a little over-the-top? Maybe, but why not?

Bye for now,

Hi Torsten,
