HI scoutermaven It is interesting to meet native speakers linke you on this forum. Can you enlighten me why you want to have the TOFEL? Is this certificate necessary for i.e getting a stdy place at the university? Have a nice day! |

I want to have the TOFEL because I wish someday to be able to teach English in many other cultures of the world.
Where are you from? |

Thank you for answering my question. I originally come from Vietnam but I am living in Switzerland since over twenty years. I like the peaceful living here so much that i can't imagine to go back to Vietnam for living there. I have never been in the USA but a lot of my compatriots are there. Do you have nay friends coming from Vietnam? Do you intend to visit the Europe one time? Switzerland is a small land with very kind people and a lot of mountains. The most Swiss speak German, French and Italian. This is why I try to meet people on this forum for practising and improving my English. I wish you a nice day. |

| If you want to teach English, TOELF doesn't do you any good. There is something else for teaching English. Just do some google search, you'll find it. |
