So Molly,do you mean it is past participle?

In my example it could be either an adjective or past participle.

Ralf says it is a noun(gerund) and Molly says it is an adjective (past participle). So what is it exactly ? Any more help please ? I'm so confused now!
To Molly,do you find ''I thought of her story as made up'' natural and Is it grammatically true?.

if it is true ,then it must be past participle (adjective) .So I don't understand the way they use it.Even in my grammar book I can't find it.Please give me a thorough explanation ?

Hi Duc,

You can find the verb element in your sentence rather than the verbal noun because it really means: we think of them as if they were/are making up a single item.

Alan

To Molly,
Alan didn't explain it to me, he just told me the meaning of the sentence which I have already known !
Please help me!
Thank you
