Hello Liza,
Both A and B are correct, e.g.
1. He has lived in London all his life, and seems likely to die there too. 2. He lived in London all his life; his house in Gerrard St is now a Greek restaurant.

By the way, it is a golden rule that you can't use the present perfect when you're talking about the dead. As to your sentence, the person in question is apparently alive and still lives in London. Hence he as lived in London all his life Take care ;) |

Are you sure?
He has visted us every night since he died. He always comes on the stroke of midnight. It's sooo chilling! |

Indeed? Why not do it by private mail, then? This is a public forum. |

The dead don't do anything. They decay. Well, looking at it from your point of view, I think you're right. He's been lying on his back under the lid of a coffin and decaying since he died - that's logical :) By the way, if he has really visited you so often, maybe you need your head examined then  it's not healthy. (no offence, just kidding) |

For some of us "they live on in the memory". |
