Hi,

If I want to ask about e.g. somebody's weekend, which is the correct way?

How was your weekend?
What was your weekend like?

Thank you
Liza

Hi Liza

"How was you weekend?" is the more commonly used sentence.

I'd say "What was your weekend like?" is much less commonly used, but it is used.
