Hi, the phrase 'we value your opinion' seems to be pretty popular and it also seems a good equivalent to the German expression 'Ihre Meinung ist uns wichtig'. Would you agree?

Thanks,
Torsten

I can't say for sure, of course, but I sense that, "Ihre Meinung ist uns wichtig," probably began as a translation of, "Your opinion is important to us," which is the other common way of saying, "We value your opinion."

On answering messages, you also often hear, "Your call is important to us."

These sentences have a tone of therapeutic psychobabble, but they're very commonly used in the US.
