Talk vs Speak

This is my first post I would like to know the difference between "Talk" & "Speak"?
Please explain with examples.

Thank you very much for replying. But I still have some doubts. Could you please explain following uses with some more examples?

Tell

1)only used to mean ‘instruct’ or ‘inform’

(because when we say something we give information. So I fail to understand the difference between "say" & "tell" in the context of "inform".

2) We do not usually use it after tell to refer to a fact.

Speak

1) is often used for one-way communication and for exchanges in more serious or formal situations.

(I didn’t get the meaning of "one-way communication" & "formal situations")
