| Well, which forum did you have in mind, and which member? (You mentioned more than one of the former; the search facilities may differ.) |

| Let me get this straight: You tell me that you thought I was my husband, the "British male of Anglo-Irish descent". So which forum and poster were you referring to? |

Actually, I didn't mention a husband, as far as I know.
But you mentioned a thread (or threads) in which I had "sniped off" a certain poster from certain forums; so you would presumably know which poster and forums were involved. If you tell me, I'll see if I can find his posts for you.
With best wishes,
MrP |

What a strange conversationalist you are, Mr P.
You assert "On other forums, you post as a British male of Anglo-Irish descent."
I tell you you are mistaken and talking about my husband.
After being told that, you say you didn't mention a husband.
Odd conversation.
So, by saying "you post as a British male of Anglo-Irish descent" I assumed you knew which poster and fora you were talking about.
So why ask

Let me put it more simply: What was the name of this "British male of Anglo-Irish descent", and on which forum did he post? |

| There's that "Baa-baa!" again. Odd to see sheep wanting to protect the shepherd. |

Well, this is confusing. Don't you know? I thought you said he was your husband. (You were going to provide some incriminating examples of his work, I believe.)
But in any case, I've thought of another problem.
This chap – call him Poster X. If he is your husband, he presumably writes in a completely different style from you. After all, you are writing as a comely young Nigerian woman, who has only known English for a few years; and he apparently is a hardened British male of Anglo-Irish descent, in his early 50s, who manages an ESL academy.
Now if that's the case, how could I have confused his posts with yours? They would surely be worlds apart.
Or do you think your writing styles are very similar?
All the best,
MrP |

Not so. He occasionaly proofreads my posts, he understands quite a bit of Nigerian English, we share the same interest in World Englishes and chat and debate quite a lot, one doesn't need too much language to communicate with one who is close to one, some people learn a sociloect/dialect quicker than others, etc.
Now, why do I often confuse your posts with certain members on, for example, these fora?
