Hi Torsten: Thank you very much. everytime, when I receive your e-mail lessons I'm really happy because you write down very clear. I can understand very well. Here is my simple present sentence. My name is Annie. I from China. Now I live in United States of America. my best friend's name is Jenny. she is very nice person. She lives in United States of America too. By the way, I did lesson 7 it's not bad I got 9 right. if I did any mistake please correct for me.
I have some questions. I don't know how to can I improve my English fast. I can speak a litter bit English. Also I go to school sometimes but I don't have too much chance to speak english because most time I speak Chinese. So it's really difficult for me to improve English fast. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you Best wishes, Annie |

Hi Annie,
Many thanks for sharing your learning successes with me. It's great to see that you are so eager to improve your English and you already have achieved remarkable results. Here are just a few suggestions you might want to consider. Please remember to start every sentence with a capital letter and also capitalize the word "English". I assume that in English you don't 'capitalize' your characters so this might be a new concept to you.
As for the test, please repeat it so you get all the questions right. If you need an explanation on a particular word or phrase simply click on the 'Explanation' link on top of each question.
Finally, you can improve your speaking skills by listening to dialogs and you can also record your own voice and send it us via email.
Let me know what you think. Best regards, Torsten PS: Where in the United States do you live and what do you do? _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

My name is Rosario, and I'm from Argentina. I'm 13 years old, and I've been learning english since I'm about five years old or so, though I'm still practising, I do everything. I'm taking this course, I'm also taking classes with a particular teacher that use to be my former teacher in primary school. I love reading in english, watching movies in english and listening to music in english, too. I'm an english-lover (??). Anyway... Haha, I want to learn as much as possible, so that when I grow up I'll be able to talk with no complications, in United States, I wanna try my talent and luck by being an actress, which is my one desire in life. Well, that's it. My best wishes, Rosario. |

Hi Torsten: thank you very much, I'm so glad you reply back to me. I live in U.S.A of New York. I like to live in New York of Queens. I work in Manhattan. I make jewelry. I have other question. How can I improve reading? I have very limit comprehension and vocabulary. sometime I try to read newspaper. But I really can't understand there are so many vocabulary I don't know what's the mean. So when I read newspaper I feel so boring. I really don't know how to improve the reading skill. have a nice day Annie |

Hello everyone,
My names are Adepegba, Nojeem I write from Nigeria and a Nigerian by nationality. I hold a master degree in Industrial Engineering and a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, although my knowledge of English is above average, but it is advantageous to learn new deal in the language because of it's dynamism, also I am looking forward to writing GRE sometimes to come, but the verbal aspect has been my greatest undoing, hence the reason to joining this forum.
I hope I am most welcome to your mist , and thinking that the verbal barier thing will be surmouted in no time? I want to stop for now. Thank you very much |
