TOEFL® writing tips

Hi
Iam a new member. I need guidelines for my toefl writng essays. i got 21/30
but i need score a of 24/30 for practising as pharmacist in USA.

i got 21 on the writing too....but i dont need more than that ,,,i got 23 in the speaking though....how much did u get in the speaking and do u have any tips in this?...i need 24 in the speaking and 92 in total and not less that 20 at the other parts...i took the exam 2 times and i got 93 at the first one and i got 95 at the second one,,,but my problem is in speaking and i really dont kno what to do to get 24 in it....

Hey i am preparing for my toefl and i want to know that is self preparation for toefl enough or one needs to attend coaching classes...how did u all prepare please reply back soon...

Hi, how do you do? Ihave to congratulate you for that score although you want to high it!
In fact I am also pharmacist as you and it may be good for us to exchanges ideas!
I think you have to keep on practicing over and over.
You should work on a large variaty of topics an also on all types of question we may face on test day

Hi, I am also a foreign pharmacist and I should reach the score 24 for writing. It was so nice to know about you. I've taken toefl ibt several times scoring from 105 to 111 but the problem was either writing or speaking. Once I got 29 in writing, whereas I scored 24 in speaking. The other time I got 27 in speaking, however I got 21 in writing. I am so frustrated of taking toefl iBT. Maybe I should try taking TOEFL+TSE instead of toefl iBT. What do you think?

I took my TOEFL test on 29th March. I got 105. My score is as follows:

Speaking: 23
Writing: 30
Listening: 28
Reading: 24

My speaking score is disappointing. I was constantly out of ideas and I was stammering all the time. Reading was a bit difficult. I'm surprised I got 24. As for writing and listening, I'm quite satisfied.
