Hi

I was going through some old posts and bumped into a sentence written for MrPedantic:

Quote:
Are you looking for moderator status here...

Keeping MrPedantic's expertise, vast experience and knowledge in view, there is no doubt that he deserves to be a moderator here. If he intends to continue here, I think we should get over this job. Thanks for nailing that down.

What do you say, Torsten?

His moderating on one forum I frequent is mainly based on deleting the posts of posters who attack him and allowing his own posts where he attacks others. Do you want that kind of moderating here?

Yes, I think MrPedantic has done a good job. I like the algebraic style, eventhough I am a lazy mathematician. Laughing

Hi Nina

Thanks for the compliment. I hope you didn't misunderstand my "Me too" post, though. I was just agreeing with you. Very Happy

So far I haven't seen MrPedantic attack anyone, neither on other forums nor on ours and I don't think he is the person who "attacks" others.

Really? Then what do you think his "old chap", calling me "he" and such are about?

I never see MrPedantic attack anyone, unless your idea of attacking someone is solidly refuting a mistaken notion.

I find him quite informative, logical and civilized.

There's no reason he shouldn't be a moderator -- if he wants to be.
