Hi,

This is a sentence transformation exercise. Please have a look:

3. Jack loses his temper easily.
---> It doesn't _________

=> The only answer I can think of is "It doesn't take Jack much time to...", but I think it doesn't sound very natural. Could you tell me another way of transforming the sentence (beginning with "It doesn't ____", of course)

Many thanks in advance.
Nessie

This is another sentence transformation exercise for which I have no slightest idea:

She thought she had paid the bill but she hadn't.
---> She was ……………………………………….

Hi Nessie

Here are a couple of ideas:

- It doesn't take much to make Jack angry.
- It doesn't take much to get Jack angry.
- It doesn't take much to piss Jack off. (informal)

Hi Nessie

I'm not quite sure what they expect in that other one.

Possibly something like this?
- She was surprised when she realized she hadn't paid the bill.

Maybe someone else will have a suggestion.
