i think that 'negative marking' means that when you make an error the point is being taken off the total amount of points you scored

if u answer a question incorrectly, will marks be deducted.?

Instance question 1 is for 2 marks, incase u dont skip that question u got get any marks..

But if u answer it incorrectly, 2 marks will be deducted from ur cumulative score.

This is practiced to avoid random guesses.

Some of the competitive exams in India has negative marking.. so was wondering
