Dear Sheker,

Thanks a lot for your message. I guess Turkmen is quite similar to Turkish, isn't it? I mean, do you understand Turkish too? And what language is spoken at Turkmen State University? It's very good that you learn everything about environment protection because that's an important issue. Why did you choose this major?

I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Torsten

Dear Torsten, I am not young, have been married for many years, have two daughters (one of whom is pregnant), and have a Ph.D. in U.S. history. I went back to school and took a number of courses in linguistics. (My three main interests are social thought, philosophy, and languages.) I taught E.S.L. at seveal schools, and now teach E.S.L. at a small college. Almost all of the students are from Poland. Hope this suffices, David

Dear Daerr,

I am thankful for your e mails.Yes I have gone through the first lesson. It was wonderful. It has helped me improve on my usage of pronouns. My greatest ambition is to be in position to write books and articles. This for sure puts a demand on me to have a good command in English. Again ,since I engage so often in public speech I desire that I improve on my pronunciation of words.
I look forward to getting your response in line with my needs.

Thanks,

A wonderful essay! I like your style and also the way you define zeugma and oxymoron. They are so typical of British frame of mind. I'm Russian and English is my foreign language. But I've been studying it for centuries, for fifty years to be more exact, and ithas become my second native tongue.
