Your sentence should read How does a DHCP server dynamically assign IP addresses to hosts?
We use the help word "does" to make questions in the simple present tense. For more information on does/do, please click here.
By the way, you probably mean "WLAN" (Wireless Local Area Network)?

VLAN is abbreviation of Virtual Local Area Network.
Refer to this sentence
Which two statements describe the Cisco implementation of VLANs?
it isn't use do/does to make question in the simple present tense. |

Because "which two statements" is the subject of the verb "describe". (These two statement describe the .....)
You can say:
Which two statements do you prefer.
Here, "which two statements" is not a subject, but an object. (You prefer these 2 statements)
More examples:
Which gnat bit you ?
Which gnat did you kill ?
Which car broke down?
Which car did you fix ? |
