Clue means something that helps you find an answer. I haven't got a clue means I do not know the answer. The word is used by a police detective who is trying to find out who committed a crime and the clues are the pieces of evidence that help him find the criminal.

Hi Alen,
why are we not using third form gotten. (get got gotten). We always use has and have with third form

Is it idioms?

.
In AmE at least, 'I have gotten' = 'I have received' and 'I have got' = 'I possess'.

No. In AmE, they have different meanings:

'I have gotten' = 'I have received'
'I have got' = 'I possess'.

I have got a letter from my girlfriend = I possess her letter (I may have received it long ago).

I have gotten a letter from my girlfriend = I just received her letter.
