she asked me how to find the hotel where I stayed last time I visited Montreal

she asked if I had been to Tom's house while I was visiting Ottawa

are the sentences above correct, please?

Shouldn't the third sentence be

"she asked me how to find the hotel where I had stayed last time I was visiting Montreal"

?

If you begin them with capitals and end them with full stops, they'll be fine.
