Hello Van Vuong, My name's Thao. I'm a student like you (18 years old). I live in Duong Lam ancient village (Have you ever heard of it?) so I have a lot of oppoturnity to communicate with foreigners. You know, at first, I was quite shy. But know, I think I feel much more confident when talking to foreigners. But I'm still shy sometimes. Especially when talking to someone who looks unfriendly and ... arrogant. We are the same. So I think we can help each other to improve our ... confidence. Is it Ok? Best wishes to you. _________________ On earth there is nothing great but man, in man there is nothing great but mind. |

Hi, Thao
I hope that I can visit your village one day. There were two kings came from the village, they are Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen. Are there many tourists who come to your village? I am also and a student and maybe we are the same age. My hometown is also attractive to tourists. |

Hello Van: My name is Tom. I live in Overland Park in the state of Kansas in the United States. I live near Kansas City. It is nice to meet you. I was in Vietnam in 1969 in and around the city of Tay Ninh and Chu Chi. I saw a new map of that area and things sure have changed there. Not all the time in Vietnam were good for me as I am sure you know why but there were some times that were very good also. I did meet a lot of nice people there and they made me feel welcome. I have deep respect and love for the vietnameese people and the culture. So my time there was not a complete waist. I meet some good people and will never forget them.
Thank you for your post and hope to hear from you.

hi Vanvuong! my name is Hi (Hỉ). I'm Vietnamese lived in the USA. I'm interested to make friend with you. Don't worry, you are not the only one have that problem. Your problem is the common problem of non-native English speaker. Here are some helpful experiences: + TO speak with foreigners, you need to understand them. Therefore, you must learn listening at least 6 month. You can learn listening on internet ( here is my favorite English learning web: http://eslfast.com) You should study from easy conversations to short stories. Don't be impatient!
+ After you get used to English pronunciation, you can start to learn speaking. Certainly, you will be stuck in pronunciation, so you need to learn phonetic alphabet. (Here is the web :http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/grammar/pron/sounds) And don't be shy! -If you love to study foreign language, you must remember this golden rule: Absolutely any method of language learning, as long as it includes regular exposure to the target language, will eventually yield fluency if followed faithfully enough. In other word, you must never give up what you are doing. Keep trying! Co len nha ban (Vietnamese ^^!) |
