Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey. The city's name has changed throughout history, and has been known as Byzantium, Constantinople, and finally, Istanbul.

Istanbul is part of Europe and of Asia too and it is a city in the northwest of the Turkish Republic (we don't like the word Turkey - what a suprise). I migrated to Istanbul 16 years ago Smile
