I find it hard to memorise English words for the beginner, they tend to memorise the words letter by letter. what's the way the native use to memorise words? what should a beginner do to memorize English words? Would anybody tell some good ways? thank you!

I think the native don't even care to "memorise" any words. That's what a native speaker is all about. We all are some native speakers without exception, aren't we? Did we make many efforts to remember our own words?
