I think that with listening to audio books or recorded shows, it's best to listen about three times. If you only get 40% the first time, you'll find you understand a lot more the second and third times.
This is definitely beneficial. Keep it up. |

thank you jamie you heaten me. I hope that i will be able to improve my English in this program. you know mostly i ndrestand the gist of the subject when I listen. i can not undrestand all the details.specialy when i watch films, i became so exited that i can not consentrate on the speaches. :lol: |

When using audiobooks for learning a language, I think it's best at the beginning both to listen and read the book part by part.
Here is a website where you can download free e-books: http://manybooks.net Many of these books come in both text and audio form. You might try listening to a portion first, then reading it, and then listening a couple more times before moving on. |
