The first day: I begin the program of 30-30 days...

I begin the program of 30- 30 days. i listen to the audio book named Seven Habbit Of Hight Effective people by Dr, steve. he tries to convince the listener to change his life. He sayes some effective habits can be learned and internalized. you should learn the habits,teach them and apply them or live with them. he sayes " improve the self confidence self esteem. the more self confidence the more respect the others;more over, he sayes that you should change the paradigm , the way you are thinking, try to mak a better paradigm....it will continue
I listened this part of book about 5 times. I dont know it is correct or not; in addition I took some note.I undrestand mostly 40%. is it beneficial way to practice listening or not. thank you for your pay attention

I think that with listening to audio books or recorded shows, it's best to listen about three times. If you only get 40% the first time, you'll find you understand a lot more the second and third times.

This is definitely beneficial. Keep it up.

you heaten me. I hope that i will be able to improve my English in this program. you know mostly i ndrestand the gist of the subject when I listen. i can not undrestand all the details.specialy when i watch films, i became so exited that i can not consentrate on the speaches. :lol:

When using audiobooks for learning a language, I think it's best at the beginning both to listen and read the book part by part.

Here is a website where you can download free e-books: http://manybooks.net Many of these books come in both text and audio form. You might try listening to a portion first, then reading it, and then listening a couple more times before moving on.
