I appreciated that she took the trouble to come and see us although she was very busy.

hi,
I borrowed this sentence from another post on this forum, made a few changes and wonder if it sounds good, please.
Also, is ''although'' the best choice here? How about ''in spite of''?

Instead of "although" try "even though." Otherwise, it looks okay to me.

Hi,

Remember that if you use 'in spite of', you would have to use a different construction as this is a prepositional phrase. You could say: in spite of the fact that she was very busy or in spite of her busy schedule.

"In spite of" must come in the beginning of the sentence?
Could you please write how the entire sentence would be if I used "in spite of"?
