Do you think (2) means the same thing as (1) does?

(1) This flaw is not small enough to ignore. (Liberman 2004)
(2) This flaw is too big to ignore.

they both say that the flaw cannot be ignored and so has to be addressed, so in that way they are the same, but the urgency with which the flaw has to be addressed is different in both, i think/

(1) says that although the flaw is small (and perhaps under different cirumstances could be ignored) it is still big enough to be a problem
whereas (2) suggests the flaw is actually bigger and so the possibility of ignoring it is smaller, and says really that there is no way it can be ignored.
