Choose the best answer:
It's difficult to pay one's bills when prices keep...
A. rising B. growing C. gaining D. raising
To me, both A and B are acceptable. But the answer could only be one. This really confuses me. If there is no other way, I'd rather choose A.
What are your opinions? Please share with me.
Thanks in advance

.
The verb 'rise' is used with the word 'prices' far more often than the verb 'grow'.
Therefore, the best answer is A.
