What if I say He didn't leave LA yet. please tell me what is the use of does in third person singular?

He didn't leave LA yet.-- Americans often use this simple past tense instead of the present perfect (He hasn't...yet). Their meaning in time is the same.

'Does' is used for the PRESENT tense:

Does he leave home at 9:00 every morning?
