| Thank you for answers. Iīm not feeling so alone now . I am really thinking about my return home, because I miss my friends and home. My only friend is leaving London tomorrow, so I hope I will find some on this forum . It is very nice to share experiences and hobbies with other friends. Gabi |

Hi Gabcarka
It is normal to feel homesick. But for some this is just a short period of adjustment. I went through the same here in Germany. But if you make the effort to integrate it is worth it.
I can understand why you would be homesick, I am a BIG fan of your home country. Itīs people, the cities and countryside. I was in Prague again this year.
Good luck in London, if you can survive in that colossus of a city, you can anywhere in the UK .

Hi Gabi,
I totally agree with Stew - if you can make it in London, you can make it anywhere. A friend of mine used to live in London, and I visited him quite a few times. at first I thought it was absolutely fascinating, then I thought it was just too big, dirty, impersonal and venomously anonymous, but I learned to like it and appreciate its complexity. There are so many things you can do! And there are also so many people just like yourself who want to make friends or just seek company.
Every time I have a look at TimeOut I wish I was in London!
Good luck to you!
