Are there any other examples of consonant change from verb to noun?

What of pronunciation?
How do we pronounce survey in the verb and noun form?

cheers stew.t.

.
Actually, I got caught on this one a year or so ago, Benjamin.

American HeritageŽ Dictionary of the English Language:

'Practice': verb and noun
'Practise': VERB & NOUN (Chiefly British Variant of 'practice')

Compact Oxford:

'practise' (US 'practice') verb
'practice' noun
USAGE It should be noted that 'practice' is the spelling for the noun, and in America for the verb as well; 'practise' is the British spelling of the verb.

Go figure!
