Hello,

As far as I know, we use "at the weekend", so this sentence makes me confused:

"Business is especially good on the weekend."

please distinguish the differences bw "at the weekend" and "on the weekend" for me.

many thanks.

Hi Ann

Both are correct. The difference is that 'at the weekend' is typical in British English and 'on the weekend' is typical in American English.
