Hi,

Thank you for your question. If you want to prepare for the TOEFL test, you need to start sticking to basic spelling and punctuation rules:
- Start each sentence with a capital letter.
- Capitalize the personal pronoun "I".

Also, please note that the noun 'advice' is uncountable so the phrase 'some advices' does not exist.

Your last sentence should read I am looking forward to getting an answer.

Please use How can I improve my writing skills?

By the way, you need to start sticking to basic spelling and punctuation rules. Words like 'please' don't exist in English.

Hi, everybody
I have some difficulty to understand the preposition in the questions above:
1ª You are looking AT ON the wall...
2ª Are you going to see that film that is ON AT the cinema?
Why this inverted?
Excuse me if I didn't make me understand
Regards.

Hello Rose. I just love that name.

Why is a questioning term, and therefore, " Why is he late ?" is the correct usage.

Why he is late, is the precursor to offering an excuse for his lateness.

" He is late because he missed the bus," etc,.

Hope this is of some help in clarifying the mystery.

I'm so sorry for the long absence in this forum.I learn a lot from the website and its been helpful with my English classes.i like the explanations given on demonstrative pronoun 'that' and the relative pronoun which etc.i still have little problems on how to use especially which. for example; The book which was here has been taken. i'd prefer to use 'that' in place of 'which' is that correct?

Dear Torsten,

My score is 9/10. Here is my mistake:

Next time you come to my house, you must bring that book.

Correct answer: (a) come

Your answer was: incorrect
your sentence:
Next time you are coming to my house, you must bring that book.

I understood!!! It's the first conditional!! Isn't it??????????
