That is a glaring omission on the part of Apple. They must have lost a lot of customers over this. PS: I don't buy anything from Apple exactly because of such kinds of issues. _________________ If it's not easy, don't do it!

I don't buy anything from Apple for similar reasons, not least the fact that if you allow any of their software on your system they like to force you into doing things their way. I don't even use Quicktime because there's an alternative. Also their things are beautifully crafted and designed, but well overpriced. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Dear Mr. Torsten Why is Present Con. used in follow sentence:Later tonight I am visiting my uncle, who is ill in hospital. Why not Simple Present or Instead that, can we write: Later tonight I am going to visit my uncle, who is ill in hospital. zerade |

Hi Zerade,
We use the present continuous (as in your sentence) to describe something that is going to happen, especially if there is a time expression (later tonight) in the same sentence. Remember you write: in the following sentence.

Hello,dear Mr.Torsten, first of all thankyou for sending me english lesson again.my question is ,if a sentence have two part so how can i decide which helping verb should be use.for example" what is the name of that picture which you are looking at on the wall." i mean if the first have "is" so we should use"are" for the second part . |

Use of 'is' and 'are' has nothign to do with 'which part' of the sentence.
is - relates to the picture (it is) are relates to you (you are)
