Hi

Could you please tell me the 'opposite' of surpass--I mean, how can I complete the red sentence? (spoken by a considerable host to his cooks)

Quote:
Cooks: With all due respect, sir, don't you think it will be too much for three guests only.

Mr. Sohail: Let the food surpass the need but...

Many thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom

What about this:

- Let the food surpass the need, not disappoint it.

Maybe someone else will have another suggestion for you.
