Don't go for any of them! They'll all ruin your health and bank account (on the long run).

Practice yoga!

Hmm... Well, maybe you should pratice reading something you like read. Just for fun. Maybe you are into science? Read magazines like American Scientists. If you are into sports, read Sports Illustrated. If you read something you are interested, you wouldn't wonder off as much. You can start with that...

If you can't even focus with something you might find interesting, well then maybe hypnosis? I believe it can take away test anxiety, but it doesn't work with everybody. Take a deep breath, and good luck! ;)

have you ever meditated? if you get comfortable doing that, you will be able to concentrate more easily and effectively.

also, try and read more so that you become a skilled reader...this will make the reading section easier and thus it will be easier to focus.

otherwise, i couldn't focus before either, but i learned how to make things more interesting.
learning vocab or remembering tricks is easy when there is something "weird" or funny about them.
take a look at these exercises: http://teennotebook.com/2008/03/26/excercises-to-really-learn-vocabulary/

practice and repetition should make it easier!

@Ihatethesat: Thatz quite obvious, see problem with Grammer is if you know it you will do it in seconds ...else it becomes boredom and you can't even concentrate ..You can't expect to think about a question for 5 minutes and come out with answer....the more you think different logics come to your mind and you get confused :) In case of Mathsn all there are some basic fundaes which will be useful at many places...

So to say best way to avoid this practice more...check this link hopefully it will be useful http://sat.learnhub.com/test/take/182-vocabulary-building-exercises (there are several other grammer questions in http://sat.learnhub.com) .

Don't start taking any drugs--it might help you for a while, but your system will get totally off balance in the end. Do you really want to be in an altered state come test time? My question is, how are you studying? Are you trying to study for more than an hour without a break? Your mind won't function best that way. Take a five minute break for water or a snack here and there. And, see what you can do to make it fun. Study with a friend or in a group, and find interactive games online to help you study. You really have to mix it up. Finally, you really need to find materials that engage you. I know for me, the very sterile, corporate approach of materials from Kaplan and Princeton review really didn't resonate with me. So I found books that focused on testing styles as well as information. Because, knowing the test inside and out is at least as important as knowing the material. Here's a really good, free article on vocab: http://www.my-sat.com/SATVocab.html I actually ended up getting a bunch of my ebooks from this site. Oh, and this was helpful and pretty unique: The Mayan Mission: Another Mission. Another Country. Another Action-Packed Adventure. 1,000 New *SAT Vocabulary Words .
