Effective Impressive Thank you E-Mail?

Dear all,
My friends have joined me in helping an orphanage. In order to impress them i would like to thank them in a different, impressive words as well. Also that mail should make them love to help the ophanage.

Can anybody frame a mail or trigger an idea for the same.

I think your written English should be good enough to write the letter yourself. I know that it's always hard to get the ball rolling when you've never done something before, but we're here to help you if you feel like posting the letter or asking questions related to wording issues.
