hi everyone. i'm a 32 year old project manager for an engineering company. I really need to brush up on my english. we have a family from indonesia here at our company that are here to stay. the wife had started school and i have been placed in charge of helping them out when needed. this is mainly because everyone i work with are, to be nice, country and not very polished on the non-slang side of the english language. i'm a little rusty and i hope that you all can help me.

Hi big wan, and welcome to the forums.

Now I understand your other post better! Explaining English grammar to someone whose native language is not English is often quite different from explaining grammar to a native speaker. You will probably be asked many questions that a native speaker would never ask, and the grammar errors that native speakers make are often totally different from the errors a nonnative speaker makes.
