Hi Mr Torsten,

I have enjoyed my first lesson and I did make good of my first test, its 9 out of 10. I was confused with the words "near" and "nearby" and thats my only wrong answer. I wish you could explain more when is the right time to use these words.

Thank you and regards,
Nestor

They both mean the same thing, but it's just what they modify that is different. Near modifies nouns and pronouns, while nearby modifies verbs. If you use it enough you will get used to where each word belongs.
