hi,
I'd like to know what to say when somebody wishes me a good weekend, for example.
Could I reply something other than "You too!" and sound informal, please?
Thanks!

"Likewise", or "same to you" (often reduced to 'same tooya') are some phrases I use occasionally in that situation.

If I'm feeling flippant, I might say something like "(I) plan on it", or "Hope so", but those don't have the sense of returning the wishes to the speaker.
