'real' and 'true' #2 (permalink) Sat Aug 02, 2008 8:41 am   'real' and 'true'

Hi,

In a general way 'real' gives the idea of something that is actual and genuine as in: The only way for most people to see a real tiger is to go to a zoo.

'True' usually refers to something that is completely accurate as in: What she said was completely true because I saw what happened myself.
