Dear Torsten! As for me I`m not considered advanced in English. I have a lot of problem with grammar, with conversation, etc. Your lessons suit me all right. Thank you.

Hi everybody!
I`ve started to read a book in English. At the end of the book there is a scheme defining the level of it - upper intermediate (2300 words). It`s fifth level. There are six levels in all, from beginner (300words) to advanced (3000 words). I think it means if I`ll finish the book, my level will be correspond to the six point. May be it`s not bad way for defining English level.

Dear Torsten,

Thank you very much for the letter asking me about how I categorized my English level. I think it is rather subjective for me to rate my English capability.
However, I might say that one's English is advanced by judging his grammar, speaking skills, listening power and word usage accuracy. So the right person
to rate my English fluency is you.
I am looking forward to hearing from soon. Thanks
Best regards.

Dear Mr. Torsten!
That's a good question! It's difficult to estimate myself, because foreign language always requires repeating and improving skliis I've aquired before. So, "advanced level of knowledge" and "intermediate level of knowledge" these are all relatively. Possibly, I can say that I have Advanced level of English in compare to my friend, who also speaks English, but I can't say this when I communicate with native speakers, who's graduated English schools.
Yours sincerely
Edita.

Hello Torsten,

I would like to share my opinion about my English as well. When I got your first lesson, I wanted to ask you to sent me something more difficult. First ten lessons were really easy for me. However, after then, each lesson made me stop for a while and look at my grammar book in order to repeat some of the chapters. I believe that learning a new language it's always beneficial to repeat what has been learned already. As it is said by someone, that repetition is mother of learning. Even talking about my native language, there are so much to learn. Nobody is perfect.
