Hi Terence,
What's the context here? Both options don't necessarily sound wrong, but to me 'it needs to be done before the due date' sounds more like the ticket. _________________ Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL Preparation & TOEFL Vocabulary Learn more: How to Become an English Teacher |

Thanks very much Ralf, I really appreciate it.
I've another question which I came across recently. I read
".... On 22 May 2008, Mr David from ABC News, HR Department called on the matter and confirmed that ....."
My question is 'Shouldn't there be a comma after HR Department?' |

I think the comma after HR Department is optional.
