hello oliver,

2 weeks for preparation might be considered too ambitious for a beginner. If u have the liberty to decide the time u need for preparation , i would advice to give it atleast 4 weeks. With 4 weeks of preparation u are bound to get a decent score.

It also depends on the number of hours your willing to put in each day.

If u must give the exams in 2 weeks, i would suggest the following strategy.

1. Get hold of a std prep book like Cliff's or Barron's and concentrate on structure/grammar first

2. If your used to the american accent then listening comprehension should be easy.Nevertheless practice that too. Most of these books come along with CD's

3. Browse the net and u wud be able to come across some sample essays for the writing section.Just observe the gerenal style of writing, but in the real exam let the points be your own.

4.Reading comp which needs high level of concentration. Familiarize urself with the types of questions which appear.

The last 3 days, take up full -length practice tests.

hope this helps. good luck with your exam
