I have these Russians problems with everything what would be just for a while close to USA above my nose.My family living in Russia are so much brainwash that it is just amusing (Putin has completely grip on Russian television there are more lies now as in Soviet times, newspaper a bit more independent are ignored mostly by Russians)
One thing has happened Miedviediev and Lawrow were probably as well cheated by Putin
It could be beginning of power divisions and Putins end.
If you own the weapon you are tempted to use it ( very common military problem) tempted to shoot and kill. It is same with Putin and his KGB mentality they both would for ever fight inside him his wish for killing and his human "peaceful" part.
Litvinienko almost solved out Putin's career , his statement who was behind terror attacks inside Russia in theater and in primary school , who exploded the houses in Moscow could be very shocking for Russians citizens, his prompt death had finish it.
Putin could breath openly longer - I wonder for how long now ?

Georgian attack was provoked by shelling Georgians villages just when China started Olympiad.

You teach now (I mean now today) in your schools that 17 September 1939 Soviets where very welcome in Poland you killed millions ,deported millions ,put deadly fear to the rest and now "just welcomed" really to much modesty for your standards
Russians pupils could feel more better when studying that Polish were mad from happiness from the luck which you had brought to us.
