Hi,

Could you tell me if these sentences sound natural and clear to you:
Quote:
1. I took a toothbrush to the grout in the bathroom tile and scrubbed out all the staines

2. I got enough money for a couple of bets and hell, there's always a fountain at the mall people throw pennies in, I can go dredging on my lunch up

Thanks !

Hi Alex

Your first sentence sounds OK to me, but your second is awkward. Here are some suggestions:

1. I took a toothbrush to the grout in the bathroom tile and scrubbed out/away all the stains.

2. I've got enough money for a couple of bets and hell, there's always the fountain at the mall (that) people throw pennies in -- I can probably dredge up my lunch money there.
