Hi,

Have you ever come across this expression: a hammer lock away from.... Do you use it frequently? (Mrs Google gave me only 1 hit for this phrase)

I heard it in this context (from a movie "Married with children")

Hi Alex

I don't use that particular term and I don't think it's too common in everyday usage. But I would guess that people familiar with wrestling, for example, might be more prone to using it.

By the way, most dictionaries seem to spell that as one word:

PS: Silly me ! I hadn't though of spelling it as one word, but now that I did it, it turned out that my dictionary has a definition for it. Furthermore, there is exactly the same word in russian (e.g. it sounds like hammerlock). :lol:
