Hi sandeep,
Did you mean 'query'?
Basically, the present perfect expresses a result the past holds in store for the present, whereas the present perfect continuous focusses on a continuous action that started in the past and is still ongoing at the present moment. Please compare

. Hello, sandeep, and welcome to English-test.net.
The spelling is 'query'.
Present perfect: I have eaten. This form states a past activity, event, etc, which in some way relates to 'now'. Present perfect continuous: I have been eating. This form has the same relationship to 'now', but it emphasizes the duration of the activity.
That is a very short generalization. . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |
