Hi sandeep,

Did you mean 'query'?

Basically, the present perfect expresses a result the past holds in store for the present, whereas the present perfect continuous focusses on a continuous action that started in the past and is still ongoing at the present moment. Please compare

I've been to London twice (up to now).

to

I've been living in this house for 3 years (now).

Hello, sandeep, and welcome to English-test.net.

The spelling is 'query'.

Present perfect: I have eaten. This form states a past activity, event, etc, which in some way relates to 'now'.
Present perfect continuous: I have been eating. This form has the same relationship to 'now', but it emphasizes the duration of the activity.

That is a very short generalization.

Hi Sandeep,

In addition to Ralf's and Charles' explanations you might want to read and listen to simple present vs. present continuous.

Thanks,
Torsten
