Hi,

I'd just like to share with you a comment made by one of President Putin's aides in an interview ten minutes ago on BBC radio in which he described Russia carrying out what he called a 'peace enforcement policy in Georgia'.

I don't think it's any weirder that what the UN calls a peacekeeping operation, which usually consists of UN soldiers standing around -- sometimes even running away -- while the two warring sides continue to kill each other.

In Rwanda, the UN "peacekeepers" even collected the victims into one place, and then they didn't protect them. It made the operation so much easier for the killers -- one-stop shopping.
