Hi,

Could you say: ' My phone was wrong. ' = if you want to say that it didn't work?

Or is there another way? (e.g. It was bad. But it sounds not good.)

Thanks

Bye
Liza

the usage of 'wrong' #2 (permalink) Wed Aug 13, 2008 11:05 am   the usage of 'wrong'

Hi,

I would say: My phone was out of order since a phone can't really distinguish between what is right or wrong.

The only connection between 'phone' and 'wrong' I can see is: I've got the wrong phone number.
