Hey there,

Could some one please clarify the following point.

when asking for information is the correct way to write

1) Could you please give me the following information which we require for our audit.

2) Could you please send me the following information which we require for our audit.

Is there any better way to phrase a sentence when making a formal request for information or documents.

Hi,

It depends on the situation. 'Give me' suggests that someone is with you and they can hand the information to you. 'Send me' indicates that you are in different places.
