Hello everybody,
Even if there is a big difference in pronunciation, those common words help French speakers to learn quickly the English. I started learning the English intensively in 2009. I'm now at significant level. I have friends (English speaker) who are learning French but it is very hard and they are going to give up!
Best regards, Emmanuel |

| French is too general. It is hard to make a phrase unlike English. |

| Certainly,we must blame the French for changing the English language in some ways and expressions.I think the English speakers would not understand a French essay however They would understand some vocabulary words and expressions so they would go to the dictionary to look for it.I am an English teacher in my country which is Brasil.Best regards,Adriano. |

Dear Alan,
I have just read your essay on French words used in English language. It is also useful for me as an ESL learner. Thank you very much. Oh, one more thing is that I won't blame French nor you, because I cannot read your amazing essay today without the history of your English language.
