Hi, please take a look at these photos. These curb areas are called "Bordanlage" in German. What do you call them in English? Maybe "curb design" or "curb layout"?

Thanks a lot,
Torsten

Wouldn't you just call them sidewalks? What's special about them? They're just decorative cobblestone sidewalks.

Hi Jamie,

You are right, "decorative cobblestone sidewalks" is much more descriptive than just Sonderbordanlagen which is a very vague expression. So I think I'll go for "decorative cobblestone sidewalks". Many thanks for this great suggestion!

Regards,
Torsten
